Melanie Palaigos, CMP, joined the Florida Apartment Association (FAA) in November 2021 and is currently the Director of Meetings. She is responsible for planning all meetings and events for the association, including an annual legislative conference as well as the annual conference and trade show.
Melanie is an accomplished certified meeting professional with more than 20 years of experience in the meetings and events industry. Melanie previously spent 10 years as a meeting planner with Tupperware U.S. and Canada, where she managed the development and implementation of event conferences, meetings, incentive trips and special events. She has a strong commitment to quality work, lifelong learning and creating memorable experiences.
Melanie is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she earned a bachelor of arts in journalism with a concentration in advertising and public relations. She is also a member of the Greater Orlando Area Group of Meeting Planners International (GOAMPI) and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
