The Florida Apartment Association provides its members with news and knowledge from the world of multifamily housing in a variety of ways. The association works to help members stay abreast of developments in their industry.
FAA's e-Connect is a monthly online newsletter that informs members of the most recent association news and activities, including major events, policy decisions, member news for both individuals and companies, and apartment transactions in Florida. We also include a regular legal column and a link to the National Apartment Association's latest news.
Multifamily Florida is a quarterly printed magazine which is archived online in digital form. This presents legislative updates, features on interesting activities by member communities and people, and in-depth articles on developments in the Florida apartment industry. It also lists our Product Service Council members according to the services they provide in a special section and advertisements from supplier members.
The Legal Guide is an online legal guide to help apartment owners and managers navigate the complex legal landscape in Florida. It contains articles in non-technical language addressing every aspect of renting an apartment, from finding and evaluating an applicant, property preparation and move-in, handling the lease and financial transactions, managing problems and complications with residents and their animals, to move-out, eviction, security deposits, and any other legal entanglements. There is also a section covering Fair Housing.
FAA also publishes articles of interest from NAA and other sources from around the Web.
